Eclipse.

After nine days of stress free and munch-all-you-can-marathon, I kind of miss working already. Call me workaholic but yes I love my job. I can't wait to go back tomorrow!!!! All the emails and calls and appointments and imagining the pile of magazines waiting for me to flip it over...

On another note, I attended a wedding which was, how I should put it.....was very simple. Very simple in the sense it's kind of quiet. It doesn't have a life to it. I don't know. Maybe I'm too used to the over dramatic joy and laughter I've seen and experienced over the years. As a spectator of course. Anyway long story short, I was supposed to wear this beautifully and I'm so in love with it vintage inspired dress designed by my ever so lovely designer friend, Ms. Ellie and I didn't wear it in the end. You know why? 'Cos it's just too damn pretty to wear it on this occasion. I know what you all must be thinking. Isn't this occasion the best time to wear it? For me, no. I feel the dress needs more justice than that. I feel the dress should be seen somewhere I feel I belong.

Maybe it's just me.

However, I will definitely wear it and post up some piccas soon. Talking about piccas, here are some random shots I took during CNY....

Enjoy!

Yee Sang Session 001.

The girls and I been planning a-get-together for the past month and we finally got to meet up for dim sum lunch at one of our all time favourite restaurant called "Shanghai," at JW Marriott. Since CNY is around the corner, we decided to have a 'lil "yee sang" session."Yee Sang" means a kind of raw fish salad and it's considered a symbol of good luck and prosperity. Traditionally, "yee sang" is served during the seventh day of CNY however as time goes by, we now would serve this dish prior and during CNY.

Everyone is here and waiting patiently for the food to arrive...

We ordered Jelly Fish "Yee Sang". It consists of white raddish, carrots, red pepper, ginger, lime tree leaves, chinese parsley, chopped peanuts, toasted sesame seeds, and shrimp crackers. The dressing was lemon juice, plum sauce and sesame oil.
