Tuesday the second.

After celebrating with my family on Monday, the girlfriends decided to throw a dinner for me. Usually we'll dine at restaurants that serve all western however this time around, I was craving for Chinese food so badly that we went to Oversea Restaurant (one of my fav) at Jalan Imbi. We ordered a couple of dishes and it was good as expected. Thank God we were in a private room 'cos they way we acted and talked was crazy! I had to put up with the "accessories" they brought for me and it was plain hilarious.. After din.din. we went to this place called Ecoba around Damansara Perdana and joined September + gang for a round of drinking session. FYI September and I share the same birthday so it was a double birthday drinking session! Overall, we had good fun and it was a blast having friends who know how to party.

This week will be the week of the year where luncheons/dinners are endless with laughter and joy. Last night was with my family and even though it was a simple dinner with my favourite home cooked food, it was the company I treasure the most ;)

Reunion Dinner.

High school besties ::: Tze, Lee, myself, W.Yuen & Debs...

We had our annual reunion dinner since W.Yuen is back from UK for her summer vaca. We went to my fav steamboat restaurant and tried two new soup for the base which are papaya fungus and Teow Chew. Tasted not too bad at all. Chatted away like we're lost in time and it was good seeing them again. Sure am gonna miss this however I know we will meet once more :)

Makan Night Out.

I finally got this!!! =D Was so excited like a kid gets her/his first taste of ice cream...

Made Montreal Chicken (own recipe) + Chips (recipe here)

The end result ::: I am so gonna cook this again! The chicken was drown with McCormick's Montreal Chicken seasoning, extra virgin olive oil, garlic, onions, and black pepper. After it's marinated for a night, I baked it for around 30 minutes or so and I'm done! The chicken was still moist and tender and the flavour was just nice. As for the chips, it was indeed very crispy! It was a long process and it needs a lot of patience. I think I can still improve on it the next time I cook the chips 'cos it's damn worth it :)
