Sentimental Persona.

As I finally decided to clean my room yesterday(FYI - I was on leave), I came across to oh-so-many boxes hidden in a little corner of my study area and found the above stack of cards and letters since primary school days. Some may consider this junk or waste of space however I treasure "the stack of cards & letters" like I treasure my chocolate molten cake. I can never ever throw it away! So many memories(good & bad) and I feel like I'm betraying myself if I do throw it away. I believe we can never hide or run away from our past however we can embrace/learn from it and create a better future for ourselves. Since I found them, I literally read every single one of it and the feelings I had was hilarious/happy/hurt. Friendship/love letters, pen pals from Japan, and birthday/greeting cards are what they are. A friend asked me once what is my other hobby besides cooking and what not, I guess my answer to him now is I collect memories.

Memories in form of papers and words written on it.

Yes, I'm sentimental & emotional that way.

The Penang Work Trip.

The only thing I regretted was not taking picca of the super crazy crispy fried chicken skin we had during our work (half makan) Penang trip. It was still very crispy when we left it overnight and ate it on the next morning! I wonder what they use to fry it...

Taiwanese Night Out.

Stephy F. brought us to this Taiwanese Tea Room named Xian Ding Wei at Sunway Pyramid (New Wing) and it was not too bad. We ordered bubble teas (I was craving for it), sweet potato balls,Sweet Braised Squid with Pork Rice, Taiwanese Supreme Chicken in 3 variety sauces with Pork Rice and Deep Fried Pork Chop with Pork Rice. Overall it was great fun with the girls and may we have more makan (food) adventures!

So when Sab aka Briina =P decided to finally come back from Genting, I managed to dragged her to Levain which was my second visit for two days in a row and it was packed as usual. We ordered some pastries and cake for tea and stayed while yapping away until dinner (however we think the two aunties next to our table beat us to it, hands down). I guess Levain have become our yapping + makan cocoon.

Yesterday consist of breakfast-ing at a new found patisserie called Levain which was pretty damn good & shall return there anytime soon + walking around Aquaria KLCC with the bff looking for new toys + sipping the usual Green Tea Frap with sushi from Isetan and sandwich from Sun Moulin while people watch the noon away.

*I know this is a super late post can die however I'm still gonna post it up =P

Continuation of 001 & 002.

So as for day three, we bid farewell to the wonderful Phi Phi Island :( and hopped on to the jet to the pier for Ao Nang baby!

The ride took about almost an hour (which was a sunny yet relaxing one 'cos I sat outside along with the ang mohs - I'm the only Chinese!)

As we arrived to our destination, Mr. Nirawit (our designated driver of the trip) has been waiting with a very pimped up ride (we never expected our ride to be that bling-bling) and we're whisked away to the boutique hotel named Aree Tara Boutique Hotel.

Since it's already 6pm, we asked Mr. Nirawit to take us to the best local restaurant that serves pork and he indeed took us to one of the best served pork at Ao Nang.

STAR OF THE NIGHT - The pork were crispy + tender and it was finger pork licking good!!!

After the dinner, we wanted to go to the night market and he brought us to this place where they have mango sticky rice.

It was very good! The mango was so sweet and the rice is cooked just nice.

That sums up my third and last night of Krabi trip and I hope I could return there soon :)
