It's all about the kebab.

After our first night at Basel, it's been a non-stop work-a-coaster ride for us all and by the time we're done with work, we were so exhausted that we just wanted to head back home and sleep. However, we still need to feed our hungry tummies and Cherry aka Daikajie decided to take me to the most popular kebab place in town. Boy I was so hooked to it! I had chicken kebab with fries and the meat was just so tender and full of spices. We loved it so much that we dine there there for the next couple of days. We had kebab roll, kebab burger, lamb kebab with rice, beef kebab with fries, whatever kebab we could handle. If I ever return to Basel, I will definitely dine here again without a doubt.

Colour Palette ::: Anything green.

Green has never been part of my wardrobe as I feel I would never match anything with the it. Now that I grew older, I'm obsessed with it! From tops to shorts to dresses to sunnies! Just hope I would survive the 6 months of not-buying-anything detention.

First night with Movenpick.

After flying for 12 hours from Malaysia - Switzerland, we were in need for good food & Movenpick is where we went to. They are famous for their ice cream(no artificial colourings or flavourings mind you) however we still need meat in our systems (we're true blue blooded carnivores) and we ordered a traditional swiss dish that consisted with tons of yummy cheese, chicken wings, veal sausage with rosti, french onion soup and lastly the infamous ice cream sundaeeeeee.... Overall, it was a great din.din. night out eventhough we managed to dine there once due to work commitments :(

Back & Alive!

Finally am back home from cooling, sunny weather at Basel, Switzerland to super hot and humid Kuala Lumpur. Did I had fun? Of course! From meeting my Swiss colleagues to other markets around the world to chocolates and the weather(of course), I couldn't be happier despite the work and drama I need to go through along the way. Am gonna post tons of piccas soon (mainly food & architecture) while in the meantime I wanna share with you that I've just tasted one of the most awesome macaroons by Luxemburgerli ::: Spruengli! It's superbly light enough and when you put it in your mouth, the flavours of the shell + filling just linger around your tastebud and you can feel the freshness of the ingredients (you are only allowed to keep it for 5 - 7 days max). It was that good. I wish they would open up more outlets however what's the fun/exclusivity in it if you can get it anywhere around the world? Need to find another reason to go backkkkkkk.
